Hello, I’m Moina, the hand and heart behind Mojo Art and Design.
A while back, I went looking for a soothing hobby. I picked up a paintbrush and never really put it down. I fell for watercolour florals and the shimmer of gold foil, and later found a different kind of calm in embroidery, where every slow stitch feels like a pause.
What began as something just for me has grown into Mojo Art and Design: commissioned paintings in abstracts, botanicals and florals, hand painted wedding stationery and e-invites, greeting cards, and festive gift tags that I design digitally and print. I also love sharing what art gave me, which is why I created beginner embroidery kits and online workshops, for anyone who wants to slow down and make something with their hands.

Embroidery for me has emerged as a practice that effortlessly guides me into a meditative state, offering profound relaxation. This art form, requiring only fabric and threads, provides a simple yet satisfying way to create and indulge in the beauty of handwork. Additionally, designing festive gift tags digitally and subsequently bringing them to life through printing allows me to be a part of people’s joyous occasions.
